Reflections: Watercolors That Capture Light
Sep 06 - Sep 25 2019
David Drummond employs a great sensitivity to light in his watercolor painting. Formerly a scientist who explored light, he utilizes his scientific background to inform his creative process in capturing natural landscapes. Spending time on the waters of Lake Powell in Nevada, he often captures the images in situ, painting the intense colors of the red rocks set against the blue skies and water. Opening Reception: Fri, Sep 6, 5-7:30pm.
