Lafayette Art & Wine Festival

The Lafayette Art, Wine and Music Festival is typically held the 3rd weekend in September, and is perhaps the largest annual festival in Contra Costa County. In 2018, over 85,000 people strolled among the booths of art, handmade crafts, enjoying foods from our local restaurants, food vendors and food trucks as well as quality wines and microbrews, pausing to enjoy continuous music from our four stages.

La 8e édition de Passage Pas sage aura lieu le 31 août prochain de 15h à 22h au passage des gravilliers et à la cour du 13 rue chapon, dans le 3e arrondissement de Paris. Encouragées par le succès des précédentes éditions les galeries christian berst art brut, Galerie Sator, Galerie Papillon et Galerie Isabelle Gounod renouvellent cette année encore leur proposition d'expérience immersive et sensorielle unique. Les quatre galeries participantes s’associent pour proposer un événement festif dans un esprit «chill-out» ouvert à toutes et à tous. L’exploration artistique de cette édition se concentrera autour de trois vernissages et un finissage d’exposition. La journée sera rythmée par des performances et des sets musicaux tandis que les visiteurs seront invités à se détendre sur les modules imaginés par des étudiant.e.s de l’école nationale supérieure de création industrielle (ENSCI).

Call for Artists- Solo Exhibition - September 2019

Group Exhibition: Dacia Gallery is pleased to invite emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to participate in Dacia Gallery's Nine-Year Anniversary Exhibition this September. This is a very special exhibition for us with a huge public response from collectors to media and curators that we want to share with you. We are looking for a diverse body of artwork based on the figure and portrait in all mediums and styles, this will be a group show comprised of figurative artwork created by contemporary artists, exhibiting what is being created on today. This exhibition will be in conjunction with Dacia Gallery figurative artists and a celebration of figurative art and Dacia Gallery. The gallery will advertise and promote the selected artists for the exhibition and host a formal Opening Reception for the exhibition, including an Artist Talk during the opening reception. Who Can Participate: All visual artists, national and international artists may apply. Entry Deadline extended to: Thursday, August 1, 2019 @ Midnight.

LIC Arts Open Gallery Nights

Following the success of our first 2019 Gallery Nights, LIC Arts Open is pleased to announce that the second event of the year will take place on Thursday, July 18 with an exciting program of art-related offerings and experiences. Please take this opportunity to support the local arts scene, every third Thursday of the month. Long Island City Galleries and art venues will open their doors to the public from 6 to 9 p.m. in an after-hours celebration of art and culture. Many venues have specific events and one off happenings to co-incide with Gallery Nights - these activities change each month. Our program this month features exhibitions on view at different venues, opening receptions, open studios, live music, and immersive-interactive experiences. The Sculpture Center will be offering a free guided tour at 7 p.m. and Artist & Craftsman Supply will host a Make Your Own TIny Canvas workshop, where participants will be able to make their own artwork and take it home with them.
