Celebrātus, the title of the exhibition riffs off both Middle English “celebraten,” and Latin “celebrātus,” meaning to observe an occasion or festivity in recognition of Studio 41’s 4th year in operation. The work installed will reflect the diverse range of art by Studio 41’s artists and includes abstract and representational painting, in a gamut of media including egg tempera, acrylic and watercolour. Also featured will be a range of ceramics, sculpture, collage, mixed media, and printmaking. Featured artists: Casey Concelmo, Daniel Cordani, Mark diBattista, Katie Marie Frank, Amy Geller, Nancy Gesimondo, Dianne Martin, Sheila Ross, Jim Seffens. Opening Reception: Sun, Sep 7, 3-5pm.
